Dental crowns support a stunning smile, lasting health; get your new teeth in one visit in Nashua, NH

At Nashua Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry, we want to be your first choice for dental care. We have developed a loyal “family” of clients with safe dental restorations that are indistinguishable in appearance, feel, and function from healthy natural teeth. These restorations include dental crowns. Our crowns are made from biocompatible materials that look like natural teeth. Materials such as porcelain and other dental ceramics are also conservative; they preserve a maximum natural tooth structure. Conservative restorations are long-lasting and durable.

Dental crowns support a stunning smile

When dental crowns may be in your future

We work closely with patients to keep their teeth (and the gums that support them) healthy. However, if decay or damage threatens the structural integrity of your tooth, we will recommend restorative treatment. Crowns are advised when we cannot restore the damaged tooth adequately with a filling. Large fillings can make the treated tooth vulnerable to further damage. Depending on the severity of the decay, other trauma, our dentists may rebuild the damaged portion of the tooth with an inlay or onlay. These restorations are a conservative alternative to full-coverage crowns. They are designed to replace the damaged parts of the tooth; inlays fit inside the cusps or points of the tooth. Onlays (partial crowns) sit inside of the tooth and cover at least one cusp.

Full crowns are designed from non-toxic, tooth-like ceramics that replicate the tooth’s visible part above the gum line. They are perfectly color-matched to blend in with the rest of your teeth. The crowns are fabricated to your precise specifications at our onsite lab. We use CEREC computer-aided technology to plan, design, manufacture, refine, and place the crown in a single visit. Other dental offices would require at least two trips to make your crown; the first visit would involve preparing the natural tooth and the dental crown. The second visit would involve placing the permanent crown. There would be at least two weeks in-between visits while an outside lab-made your crown.
